Innovation You Can Wear
2SW is a collaborative Research and Innovation project aimed at developing an innovative smart Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) system for the continuous, non-invasive monitoring of workers’ psychophysiological conditions.
The project integrates technical textiles, biometric sensors, miniaturised electronics, wireless connectivity and Artificial Intelligence to develop garments capable of monitoring the psychophysiological conditions of the people wearing them, helping to identify early signs of stress and muscle overload.
A new approach to workwear, where comfort, technology and prevention come together to help improve people’s health, safety and well-being in the workplace.
The project is supported by the Abruzzo Regional Programme ERDF 2021–2027, under Measure 1.1.1.2 – Support for Collaborative Research and Innovation Projects by Enterprises Operating in the Technological Domains of the Abruzzo Regional Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3 Abruzzo 2021–2027).
